This dress is made of Navy blue bridal satin and has 2 red
ribbon water birds on front and back and 1 water bird on each
sleeve. Dress size will accommodate up to a 54'' bust, waist
and hips, dress is 49'' long with 23'' sleeves. Matching water
bird leggings are lined with non-slip fabric and have an
encased elastic band at the top. They measure 13 1/2 '' long
and 16 '' around.

This T-dress is made of Lame' brocade fabric with
pale lavender satin ribbon on sleeves and hemline.
The brocade design is lavender roses with gold
vines and leaves on a white silver background. The
Dress is 45" from shoulder to hem, size medium.
Matching leggings can be made for an additional $25.00.

Adopted as the official dress of the Western Cherokee's over 30 years
ago. We are pleased to offer these dresses designed as taught 20 years
ago. These old style Cherokee Tear Dresses have one-piece set-in waist,
¾ length sleeves, white rick-rack and white band of diamonds. Our
dresses are made the traditional way tearing squares and rectangles to
complete the design. Each dress has heavy-duty "hidden" snaps instead
of buttons all the way down the front to replicate the look of "no buttons".
All seams are surged and finished to prevent fabric raveling. Originally the
dresses were worn right above the ankle, but we will be happy to shorten
if you prefer.
